Terms of Service

1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and currently employed at an approved employer to use Caliber. Access is verified via work email OTP. Membership may be revoked if your employment at an approved company ends.
2. Account
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. One account per person. Do not impersonate others or create accounts on behalf of others.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Harass, threaten, or abuse other members.
- Post false, misleading, or fraudulent information.
- Upload illegal content, including CSAM (zero-tolerance policy).
- Scrape, reverse-engineer, or abuse the platform's APIs.
- Use Caliber for commercial solicitation, spam, or recruitment.
4. Content
You retain ownership of your content. By posting, you grant Caliber a limited, non-exclusive license to display your content to matched members for the purpose of operating the service. We store and moderate profile photos; see Section 6.
5. Matching and discovery
Caliber controls all discovery and matching algorithms. Matches are mutual. Caliber does not guarantee you will receive matches or find a relationship. Visibility settings (including colleague-hiding) are best-effort and cannot be guaranteed across all contexts.
6. Photo moderation
All uploaded photos pass automated CSAM hash-checking (Microsoft PhotoDNA) before becoming visible to other members. Flagged content is reported to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) as required by US law. Your account will be permanently banned and reported to law enforcement.
7. Termination
You may delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete Account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms without notice. Upon termination, your data is deleted per our Privacy Policy.
8. Disclaimers
Caliber is provided "as is". We do not conduct criminal background checks. We are not responsible for the conduct of members on or off the platform. Use caution and good judgment when meeting other members in person.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Caliber is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA. Disputes will be resolved by binding arbitration under AAA rules. Class actions are waived.
11. Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be communicated by email 30 days in advance. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
